Every artist worth his or her salt knows that light can have a profound effect on artwork and inspiration.
I woke up yesterday morning and listened to the rain on the roof. My favorite days are filled with bright but grey skies and rain. Heavy rain, light misting, it doesn't make a difference.
I find myself filled with artistic brainwaves on grey days. I open the window and listen to the subtle noises of the critters in the backyard.
Partially because I want to keep flexing my video editing muscles so as not to lose them and partially because rain is so incredibly inspiring, I went out first thing in the morning and ran around in the rain with my camera. This is the result.
Please excuse some of the slightly shakier shots, a 100mm without a tripod can be tough to wrangle.
